Frequently Asked Questions

How do you ship the meat?

All orders are shipped frozen in insulated boxes overnight through UPS. The meat will be delivered to your door. We always ship on a Monday or Tuesday of each week.

Where do you ship?

We ship anywhere in the continental United States. We ship on Mondays or Tuesdays of each week.

Are your animals given hormones or antibiotics?

No meat carrying a Cowgirl Meat Co. label has received antibiotics or added hormones, ever. If our animals get sick, we will give them antibiotics but sell them through another avenue.

Why can't I order specific cuts?

Life is busy on the ranch and with two little people to raise, I am prioritizing time with them which means we have chosen to simplify our product offerings for the time being and offering bulk orders only. If the amount of meat is too large for you or your family (or your freezer!) consider finding a friend or family member to share an order with!

How long do I have to wait after I preorder to receive my meat?

Depending on what time of year you order will depend on how long you have to wait for your meat. Typically, we have inventory, but sometimes our customers have to wait until the next processing date! The best way to get the freshest meat is to get your preorder in so when our animals are processed we will ship or deliver your meat immediately.

How much freezer space will I need?

Plan on approximately one cubic foot of freezer space for every 15-20 pounds of meat.

How much will I pay in shipping?

We offer Free Shipping and Delivery!
